Past Mini-Grants

For the 2024-2025 school year, we are proud to report approximately $3,500 was awarded to mini-grant recipients! Our mini-grant program allows staff members the opportunity to submit a written proposal for PTO to fund a specific project to enrich student learning and achievement in classrooms.

Some of the grants awarded include:

  • a classroom podcast station aimed to enhance student writing with real world applications
  • science kits to allow hands on learning specifically targeting 2nd grade science standards
  • March "Book" Madness- popular books were purchased for students to read and vote for favorites- exposing students to a variety of texts while also encouraging students to enjoy reading
  • Cooking Lab materials for students to participate in project based learning aligned to science standards with real world applications
  • Earning My Way Through First Grade consumers and producers math and social studies project
  • CTAE Little Engineers supplies- the incorporation of Duplo LEGOs to help students in PreK-1st grade develop problem-solving, motor, and early math skills through building and experimentation.
