Room Parents at River Eves work as a liaison between PTO, the classroom teacher and parents to provide support throughout the school year. 

Interested in becoming a room parent? A QR code to sign up will be posted in classrooms at open house. 

Main responsibilities as a room parent:

• Work with lead grade level room parent to organize the class holiday party in December
• Collect money for teacher gift (December, Birthday, End of Year)
• Help communicate messages from PTO to class as needed via email

One Room Parent in each grade will act as the "lead room parent" to help communicate with teachers and help organize similar activities for parties. 

It is an expectation that all room parents will also be members of the PTO.
